We’re pleased to introduce three of our newest employees: Derrick Andreassi, Jared McDowell & Seth Wagner. Each of them bring a unique set of skills to the table and we are proud to have them on-board!
Derrick joined our team shortly after graduating from Penn State University in May with a BS in both electrical and computer engineering. In the summers before his Junior and Senior year of college, Derrick interned with us alongside V.P. of Engineering, Mark Feydo. During that time, he helped Feydo further develop the Installed Sensors business by testing and improving their products. Derrick has now joined the SNI team full-time as an electrical engineer. He has taken on a lead role in the development of their newest updates to microPIMS®.
It is with great pride that we welcome him onto our team!
Jared joined our team full-time as a UT Application Engineer in early June. He recently graduated from the Behrend College for Mechanical Engineering Technology at Penn State, Erie. He started on the SNI team in the summer of 2018 as an intern working on developing custom probes for a high-profile customer. He says that, “he got caught in the family atmosphere and challenging engineering work and came back to stay!”.
We are honored to have him with us!
Seth joined our team at the end of April working as a CNC Machinist. Prior to his time at SNI, he worked at a roofing company and developed a strong interest in heavy machinery and hands-on construction. He currently lives in Reedsville with his wife and has an outspoken passion for the Pittsburgh Pirates (as well as playing in local baseball leagues in his free time). He was introduced to the Sensor Networks team through his dad, Lee Wagner, who has a role at SNI as the senior machinist. We couldn’t be happier that Lee connected you into our team.
Along with the new full-time hires, we also have three interns helping out the team as well. Please join us in welcoming Ms. Fariha Azhar (engineer), Willy Benavides (engineer), and Jared VanOuse (marketing).
